The rod perhaps needs very little work done to it in the eyes of the owner, but we have x-ray vision and years of experience!
We will not waste your money or our time if the repair is not a viable option
On some occasions we are asked to alter new rods. This may involve changing the guides/rings or even lengthening the cork handle to balance the rod better.
Perhaps the cork is to fat and causes cramp in the hand - sometimes it needs a new reel fitting - has your reel dropped off in the river?
